We know that trunking is a good mechanical and chemical protection. Also it can occupy space for install more wires in it. When comes to trunking wiring, you need to know where and how to install, In addition you need to know how to make 90° angle to bend trunking. Although PVC and conduit need conduit bender, but for trunking you need to do by your bare hand. So lets do it!!!!!
To do 90° angle for trunking, you can do to left side, right side and behind.
So now we going to do the behind one. Lets get started.
Tools needed :
Metal cutter
Ruler or Measuring tape
Pencil (for draw lines on trunking)
WARNING :
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CUT TRUNKING,THIS MAY CAUSE INJURIES FROM SHARP EDGES BY CUTTING THE TRUNKING. WEAR GLOVES TO AVOID INJURIES.
1. Prepare tools and right measurement of trunking. We going to used 400CM length of trunking.
3. Draw the triangle one the trunking by using the scale.
4. Draw another line on left side or right side. It's depend on your wiring plans.
5. Now use metal cutter to cut the triangle and one side of the left side part
.
6. After cut this is how the trunking look like.
7. There's one part is didn't cut. This is because it's going into the trunking for give support. To make this support, you need to cut the sharp edges and make it like a tongue.
8. Now bend the trunking and insert the tongue shape inside. It will look a perfect 90° angle.
9. To make cover for this 90° trunking, take a cover with same measurement and draw the same triangle on it.
10. Now put cover on the 90° trunking and it perfectly fit in.
Finally you can make your own 90° angle for trunking. Hope you can understand how to do it by following this steps. Always be careful when cut the trunking and good luck!!!
thank you. It's exactly what i was looking for.
ReplyDeletethank you. It's exactly what i was looking for.
ReplyDeleteDo you by any chance have tutorials of left and right trunking? please
ReplyDeleteThanks sherr for comments and sorry for the late reply. You can apply this method to cut trunking in left or right ways. Always measure your trunking in correct direction for precise measurement. I will like to do video about this tutorial, but i lack of video equipment so i will do it in future
