Electrical Test : Polarity Test

Polarity test as same as continuity test. But the purpose are different. This test is so easy to do and simple to remember. The purpose of the test is for determine the wiring are wired in correct terminal. In this test multi meter are used. If the terminal are wired in correct terminal,the multi meter will shows 0Ω.Means the wired are connect in right terminal.
Lets look out how to do polarity test.
                                         
                                                           Polarity test for Lamp

 The picture above shows that this test similar to the continuity test. But this test allows you be confident with your wiring so you can test by giving electric supply. The positive prob will goes to the lamp and ground or negative prob will goes to the MCB. So the multi meter must probs goes like L-L,N-N, and E-E to each terminals. For sockets the same steps will use for the this test.

                                                       Polarity test for Socket

 The each terminal must point to the multi meter to check the right polarity.if the polarity aren't right,the wiring isn't wired properly or wired incorrect terminal. 

If the polarity test are complete without any fault,It's time to give electric supply to light your home.
