Common electrical problems in single phase and three phase.

We already know how electricity works in our house from electrical appliance to device we use today. Although we use single phase or three phase we going to have the same problems that everyone face to solve it. Some people will fix the problem by recruit an electrician to fix electrical problems. But if you want to solve electrical problems by yourself but you don't what the problem is, Well dummies and noobs!!!! you are in right place to know what are the common electrical problems that might help you to solve.

Common electrical problems comes with variety types of fault and damages from wires to electrical appliance. So we going to look one by one in electrical device that cause problems and right solution to solve it. Lets get start it!!!!

1) Main Switch

Problems : Fuse get burn or blown even replace.

Solution : Replace fuse with 32A for single phase and 63A  for Three phase or replace new main switch. Contact license electrician to inspect main service connection because that might cause over current to burn your main switch fuse.

2)Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB)

i)Problem : Keeps tripping when electrical appliance runs.

  Solution : Check electrical appliance earth conductor and screw the conductor tightly.

ii) Problem : Trip too late when earth fault happen

    Solution : Check the resistance of earth at the copper pipe with earth conductor or     replace new RCCB.

3) Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB)

i) Problem : Trip when plug in electrical appliance or turn on Lights

   Solution : Replace new MCB or screw live and neutral in correct position. If not this will cause short circuit

ii) Problem : Short circuit happen,but MCB didn't tripped

    Solution : Turn On and Off or reset  unitll the MCB to conduct  the electrical device.

4) Sockets

i) Problem : Didn't power up electrical appliance 
   Solution : Check the live or neutral and both didn't connect tightly or replace new sockets

ii) Problem : Plug get sparks inside the socket when plug in
    Solution : Replace new socket. This is because the socket have more space that didn't contact with plug's pin.

iii) Problem : Socket get explode cause of overload,short circuit or over current
     Solution : Check the electrical appliance,RCCB and MCB. Check the amount amperage that carries to the sockets.

5) Switches

i) Problem : Switch didn't turn on or off even presence of electric
   Solution : Check the connection that might be untightly screw

ii) Problem : Switch didn't work properly according to the loads
    Solution : Reverse connection or wrong connection

iii) Problem : Switch didn't turn on in one push. The joint in switches damaged.
     Solution : Replace new switch according to the connection and switch that use.

Wires

i) Problem : Wire's PVC layer melt or sticky
   Solution : Wires carries more amps than requires. Check the MCB or RCCB and amperage.

ii) Problem : Wires burns and disconnect and chances occur short circuit
    Solution : Follow the solution in 'i'

iii) Problem : Wires get rust
     Solution : Wires in low quality and immediately change it

iv) Problem : Sparking between opposite wires.
    Solution  : Screw tightly in sockets or in switches.

V) Problem : Fail protection of wires. (PVC burned Or wound)
    Solution  : Cover the wound part with electrical tape or change the wires.
