Today's ceiling electric fan are made wireless to change the speed of the fan.Before the wireless fan,we use fan regulator to change the speed of the fan.In previous post we see how to fix a fan on ceiling. So this time we going to look out how to wire a ceiling fan.
Old days ceiling fans use electronic fan regulator used to change the speed of the fan. The wiring is easy and simple to understand.A fan regulator comes with 5-speed controller,4- speed controller and 3-speed controller. But it's works in same way just the difference in speed.
Another thing for a fan regulator is have two types of it. One is have transformer that supply certain amount of voltage to control the speed. Another is run by electronic regulator,but both works in same way to control the speed of the fan.#
To wired a fan with regulator is easy. lets look it out.
There's a capacitor for the fan,because it will stabilize voltage and the power factor. After connect to the capacitor,it connect to the regulator to change the speed of fan and the switch to turn on and off the fan.
Now you able to do wiring for any fan. Just follow the schematic to wired and let the fan spin to cool down you!!!!
