Types of Cables.

This world is surrounded by so much of cables with many types. We don't know what types of cables plays role in distribute power source. So let's find out types of cables.

1) PVC wiring cables.

This cable is used in house and industrial wiring to distribute power to small end circuits like sockets,light and so on. This cable has particular size. Such us,
1.5MM,2.5MM,4.0MM,8.0MM,12.0MM.

2) Underground XLPE cable (cross linked polyethlene)

This cable is used in underground to distribute power from transmission to switch gear,residential and industrial power distribution. When overhead transmission line are possess in some place,so the brilliant idea to distribution power is use underground. This cable provide with so much of layers of insulator and steel armor to protect cable from damaging by chemical,mechanical or b nature.

3) SWA Cable (Steel Wire Armour)

This cable commonly used in underground street light wiring.This cable is slightly similar to XLPE cable. But this cable has only one PVC insulator and one steel armour. This cable provide outlet cables that inside the cables that connect through distribution panel or street lights with cable size 2.5MM,4.0MM or 12.0MM.

4) Coaxial Cable

This cable usually find in TV aerial. This cable contain one 1.5MM conductor and thick dielectric core. This helps to send and receive TV signal. This also used in Audio amplifier system.

5) Fiber Optic Cables.

This fiber optic cables help this modern world to transmit and receive data so faster than regular wire. This cable use in office,data center, and communication tower. When the cable is powered, the fiber optic cable will glow in colors.

Is wire safe that hanging outside the wall?

                                                             
Did you see those wires hanging outside your wall at your house. Do you ever think that is dangerous or not. This kind of wire hanging outside the wall is for add extra electrical accessories or future installation. You make sure that hanging out wire is safe,Let's find out!!

1) Check the presence of electricity

If you not sure that wire is running electricity,use test pen,test lamp,or voltage detector to check the presence of electricity. If these tools indicate light or sound,there is electricity and do not touch the wire.

2) Shut down the electrical supply for certain wire.

Once you make sure the wire is conduct electricity, you should turn off the supply that carry electrical current for that wire.

3) You are Safe now and Insulate the wire.

 After you turn off the supply,What now you are safe now. Wait. Not safe enough folks. You have to insulate the wire with electrical tape or electrical cap

                                     

Main electrical distribution panel home and industrial

When lightning strikes happen and suddenly your house shut down your electrical supply. 1) Main Switch

Main switch are the first you see in the panel. This main switch will protect your home from getting over current. These main switch provide with current rating fuse,that usually in 63A. If over current occur, these fuse will break and protect you home from getting fire!!!!!!

2) RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker)

When lighting strike happen and suddenly your home electrical supply is shut down,This RCCB is play a important role on this. This RCCB will protect your home and electrical device from earth leakage or Earth fault.When earth fault happen, this RCCB will trip and you push up the trip knob,you will restore your home electrical supply.This RCCB current rating is 40 amps

3) MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker)

This MCB will protect your electrical device from getting short circuit. When short circuit happen,this MCB will trip. After you fix your electrical device with short circuit fault you can restore the supply by push up the trip knob. This MCB current rating is 6A for small load like light fan,20 and 32A for heavy load like socket,air conditioner,microwave and so on.

Your house ceiling fan are fixed above your ceiling. A rod is place above your ceiling and attach it with bolts and hang the fan's motor to the rod and the wiring connection goes it.

The you will see a three incoming and outgoing wires. Live,Neutral and Earth.(You must know the each function of wire.) Incoming wires are connect to capacitor. capacitor will stable the power factor and store and release charge. The outgoing wire is pre connect to the output of capacitor  the fan motor.

Inside a ceiling fan,there's a motor with several number of pole with Stator winding that produce rotating magnetic field that make your fan spin until you feel relax and free to enjoy sit under it.

Types of Outlet power cord.

We have different types of power cord to power our home electrical device. But we should know what type of power cord is used to connect a compatible power deice. Lets look at some types of outlet power cord.

 This kind of power cord you will see in your Laptop charger. The cable has earth so its protect due to earth fault.

2)

This power cord is not earth. It doesn't mean it's not safe. It's safe but when earth leakage happen,you electrical device will damaged without warning.

This power cord you will find in your PC,kettle,speaker and so on. This power cord is like the first one has earth. So no worries folks just put it and power on.




4)

This power cord is second version of 3rd. This has pin inside and it's safe to use.




5) 

This power cord is different from others.but still function is the same. Just the difference between the design and the slot. This power cord is safe.

What's inside a 3 pin plug wire

As usual all we know that commonly inside a wire.But we should know some basics to know for find out more complex wire. So let's look what's inside a 3 pin plug wire

Insulator : Protect wire from external injuries or accident. Like fire accident,chemical accident and     so on.

Inner Insulator : Protect the conductor form having contact each other.

Conductor : as we know,it allow flow current through conductor.
